What does a high Fasting Glucose result mean?
Above 5.6 mmol/L: impaired fasting glucose. Above 7.0: diabetic range. Stress, illness, or inadequate fasting can transiently elevate.
What does a low Fasting Glucose result mean?
Hypoglycaemia, fasting too long, rare insulin-secreting tumours.
